As is the same with everyone, COVID-19 and the third lockdown has created a great amount of uncertainty in many areas of our lives and unfortunately this is also true for our delivery partners. We expect and hope that these issues can be mitigated so we may continue to receive our orders when needed and expected.
However, the constant changing nature of the effects of the pan-demic and our reaction to them makes it quite difficult to ensure - with a degree of certainty that our delivery times will not be affected especially in these busier (for online deliveries) times.

THE PACKAGING AND PRESENTATION
When ordering directly from Sleepy Wilson your item will arrive wrapped in our tissue paper and carefully placed into one of our luxury Sleepy Wilson boxes or embossed envelopes. This in turn and to further protect you pyjamas and/ or accessories from the rigours of the postal service, will be wrapped in either recycled or biodegradable protective wrap and contained in a biodegradable mailer or ecommerce box
We’ve done our best to ensure that our packaging has been conscientiously produced and balanced this with the need to ensure your items are well protected during their journey through the postal or courier service.

Sleepy Wilson aim to dispatch by next working day after your order has been received and payment cleared. Your order will then be handed over to the designated service (either Royal Mail First Class/ Tracked or DHL Express).
Orders are estimated to arrive after dispatch in:
- Royal Mail First Class: 1 to 2 working days
- Royal Mail Tracked: approx. 2 working days
- DHL Express: One working day (depending on when order was initially received)
Please note: The delivery service desired must be made at the time of checkout and paid as part of the order. If you wish to avail of the messaging service (email and/or text) provided by our delivery partners via their Tracked services you must provide this information at the time of placing the order. Please see below for more information.
We use Royal Mail First Class and Royal Mail Tracked Services so you can track your purchase from dispatch to safe arrival. You will receive SMS &/or email notifications if you have provided Sleepy Wilson with this information at point of order, this is to help keep you updated and in control. You may also go online via the Royal Mail ‘Track & Trace’ website where you can enter the tracking number provided via the order confirmation email and view the latest delivery information for your shipment.
If you require you purchase sooner Sleepy Wilson can send your order via DHL Express with delivery usually for the next working day after dispatch. This is dependant on the complete and successful order being received by Sleepy Wilson by 12 noon (Mon-Fri) and the required service chosen at checkout.
Please note that DHL do not count Bank Holidays or weekends in the timeline so any orders received on a Friday or the day before a Bank Holiday will not be delivered within the normal timescale. The timeline will continue on the next working day after the weekend or Bank Holiday.
Note: Sleepy Wilson cannot accept requests to change the delivery type chosen once your order has been placed and accepted. Please contact Sleepy Wilson at email@example.com immediately if you have a query.
All 'EU Countries' and 'Rest of the World' orders will be shipped via DHL Express, and are estimated to arrive in 2 to 3 working days and 3 to 6 working days depending on country.
Sometimes a particular destination may not be considered to be accessible by DHL, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to accommodate any unique destinations.
CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES
If you live outside the UK, local customs or import duties may be charged when your parcel reaches your destination. Recipients outside the UK will be responsible for any import duties, clearance fees and other additional charges that may be charged by their counties customs.
We are currently working with our delivery partners to clarify any additional costs and hope to resolve any potential uncertainty as soon as possible.
Please note any delays due to local customs procedure are beyond our control and not the responsibility of Sleepy Wilson Ltd. We will however do all we can to facilitate as smooth a journey for your order as possible.
*If delivery charges to your country of choice are excessive or may take an undue amount of time to deliver, Sleepy Wilson will attempt to contact you to find an appropriate alternative. Sleepy Wilson however reluctantly, reserves the right to make a further charge for any excessive delivery charges that may occur. You will be informed of any excessive charges before dispatch and will be provided with the option to cancel your order and receive a complete and full refund at this time.
